Position Overview
JUS Official Services is seeking a dependable and highly organized Live Event Ground Team Coordinator to manage on-site execution teams during live events, activations, and appearances.
This role is responsible for coordinating ground personnel, ensuring event setups run smoothly, maintaining communication between leadership and on-site teams, and handling real-time operational needs during live productions.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and capable of leading coordination efforts in fast-paced environments where timing and execution are critical.
This is an independent contractor role with compensation based on event assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site ground teams during live events and activations.
- Assign and manage responsibilities for crew members (setup, support, breakdown, logistics).
- Ensure all event components are properly executed according to plan and timeline.
- Communicate real-time updates between leadership, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown processes.
- Troubleshoot operational issues during live events.
- Maintain order, structure, and professionalism among event staff.
- Ensure equipment, materials, and staging elements are properly handled and accounted for.
- Assist in enforcing schedules, timelines, and event flow.
- Support safety, organization, and efficiency on-site.
- Document issues, successes, and operational notes after events.

You may coordinate ground teams for:
- Live concerts and performances
- Tours and multi-city events
- Corporate activations and brand events
- Festivals and fairs
- Private and VIP events
- Creator and influencer appearances
- Community events
- Promotional campaigns and pop-ups
- Entertainment and media productions
Qualifications

- Experience managing crews, volunteers, or operational teams.
- Familiarity with event setup, staging, or production workflows.
Compensation
This is a project-based independent contractor (1099) role.
Live Event Ground Team Coordinators are compensated per event or assignment based on scope, responsibility level, and duration of the engagement in accordance with the Independent Contractor Agreement.
There is no hourly wage or salary unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. No employee benefits, paid time off, or guaranteed event volume is provided.
Independent Contractor Status
This role is offered exclusively as an Independent Contractor (1099) position.
Contractors are responsible for their own scheduling, transportation, tools, taxes, and business expenses. This role does not establish an employer-employee relationship.
Background Check Requirement
All applicants must successfully complete a criminal background check prior to assignment to any live event or client-facing operational role.
Failure to successfully complete the required screening may result in disqualification.
