GIS Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage GIS databases and applications.
• Perform spatial analysis and geospatial data processing.
• Create thematic maps, dashboards, reports, and geospatial visualizations.
• Integrate GIS data with enterprise applications and other systems.
• Support urban planning, Smart City, and infrastructure development projects.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
• Present geospatial insights and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills:-
• 4-5 years of experience in GIS and geospatial projects.
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar GIS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial concepts, spatial analysis, and GIS data management.
• Experience with GIS web services, geodatabases, and enterprise GIS solutions.
• Experience supporting urban planning, infrastructure, or Smart City initiatives.
• Strong consulting and client-facing experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and client engagement capabilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with government entities, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience presenting geospatial insights to government stakeholders and supporting strategic decision-making is preferred.
• Experience in Smart City or Government projects will be an added advantage.
• Middle East/GCC project experience is preferred.
• Experience with international consulting firms or large transformation programs is an advantage.
• Candidates with international consulting exposure will be preferred
