About the job
Help the best ideas win. Most engineers build products that help a single company succeed. At Harmonic, you help the next generation of incredible companies get discovered. Harmonic helps investors, acquirers, and operators discover the next generation of startups before they're obvious. When a great company gets discovered earlier, it can unlock funding, customers, partnerships, acquisitions, and hiring opportunities that otherwise may never have happened. The result is a rare form of second-order impact: your work doesn't just improve one product, it helps thousands of startups across every industry get discovered, reach their potential, and drive value for millions of others.
Join a company at an inflection point. Harmonic has already established itself as the leader in startup discovery and is trusted by many of the most sophisticated organizations in technology, including OpenAI, Anthropic, General Catalyst, Kleiner Perkins, Brex, and Notion. We are growing more than 100% year-over-year and have years of runway, but we're still early in the next phase of the business. The engineers joining today will have an outsized role in shaping the product, customer experience, and direction of the company as it scales.
Work on genuinely difficult technical problems. Flow combines customer-specific relationship data with one of the largest startup knowledge graphs in the world, spanning tens of millions of companies, hundreds of millions of people, and hundreds of attributes per entity. Building products on top of that foundation requires solving hard problems across search, recommendations, ranking systems, data infrastructure, knowledge graphs, and AI-powered workflows. Few teams get the opportunity to work with this combination of scale, complexity, and real-world impac
