Role Description
moopFi is seeking motivated Business Interns to join our fast-paced healthcare fintech startup. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in many different areas, including marketing, financial services, tech, customer outreach, case management, business operations, marketing, financial services, and startup growth.

moopFi is a healthcare-focused fintech that helps people take the stress out of medical bills by giving customers a simpler way to organize their bills, reduce their total principal by 10%, and replace multiple inflexible provider plans with one flexible monthly payment plan that fits their household budget. In addition to saving time and money, moopFi also coordinates directly with healthcare providers. We are growing a consumer-friendly platform in a space where people are often overwhelmed and unsure what to do next.

As a Business Intern, you will work directly with the moopFi team and support real customer-facing and business-building projects. This is not a traditional internship where you sit on the sidelines. You will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully, learn how an early-stage fintech operates, and gain practical experience across multiple functions.

Who we’re looking for:
• Self-starter who is adaptable, organized, professional and eager to learn
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to assess data and provide meaningful insights
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written skills
• A student or recent graduate interested in marketing, finance, communications, business, healthcare, fintech, or entrepreneurship. MBA preferred but not required.
• Comfortable learning and using a variety of platforms and tools

Responsibilities may include:
• Assist with distributing pamphlets, flyers, and brochures to approved local businesses, offices, and community locations
• Supporting customer outreach and follow-up (e.g., following up with prospective customers who have created accounts or expressed interest in moopFi, addressing support requests)
• Support marketing and community outreach efforts
• Conducting research on healthcare, fintech, consumer finance, and local markets. Assist with tracking regulatory compliance and financial technology trends.
• Assisting with business development and operational projects
• Helping improve internal processes as the company grows. Refine operational workflows and integrations.
• Assist with tracking processes and efforts; maintain compliance and workflow matrices. Identifying common customer questions, pain points, or areas of confusion to translate into operational manuals, website/marketing materials, etc.
• Identify ways to increase social media following, engagement and reach. Assist with creating and scheduling social media content for platforms like TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Reddit
• Support general brand awareness efforts
• Jumping in on other projects as needed
