Backend Developer

Role: Backend Developer | Type: Full-time | Experience: 2+ years | In-hand Pay: ₹20,000–₹25,000/month | Positions: 1 | Location: On-site — Jabalpur

About Us

We are a founding team building LawVriksh — a legal-tech platform currently in active development. The product is pre-launch and you will be one of the early engineers building the core system from the ground up. Small team, real ownership, and zero bureaucracy.

The Role

Own the backend — design and build Python REST APIs, manage a PostgreSQL database, implement auth and access control, and own Docker-based CI/CD deployments. You will write production code that the entire product depends on.

Must-Have

• 2+ years of professional backend experience
• Python as primary backend language (FastAPI / Django / Flask)
• Strong grasp of PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimisation, migrations
• CI/CD — has set up or worked with deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Understands REST API design, authentication, and access control

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud deployment (AWS / GCP / DigitalOcean)
• Exposure to message queues, async workers, or background jobs
