This is a contract position from Jul to Nov 2026, with the possibility of extension. A current valid secret level Government of Canada clearance is mandatory.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Analyst to support enterprise SAP initiatives. This role focuses on end-to-end functional analysis, solution design, and delivery across integrated SAP environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document SAP functional, business and/or system requirements specifications.
- Develop functional specifications, including reports, interfaces, and workflows
- Gather and analyze information to establish the functional and technical needs of a system or project.
- Develop, test, document and implement changes to SAP modules that are integrated within an SAP solution.
- Produce documentation (functional specs, procedures, manuals, release notes)
- Analyze data conversion requirements to determine data conversion strategies and mechanisms based on strategy.
- Analyze, document SAP Service Marketplace Support Portal notes in support of problem and change analysis.
- Assist Business Analyst in the conduct of business and system requirements workshops.
- Provide ongoing knowledge transfer to internal teams (written or presentations)
What you`ll Need
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Analyst with full lifecycle project experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions
- Strong experience designing, configuring, and supporting integrated SAP solutions
- Experience managing multiple SAP project lifecycles (ideally in SAP Activate or ASAP)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions
- Proven ability to manage deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resources
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and integrated workstreams to deliver complex SAP implementations in structured environments
Hands-on experience across core functional activities, including:
Requirements analysis and business process design
SAP configuration and solution optimization
Integration and interface design
Testing, implementation, and system enhancements
Data conversion and migration planning
Documentation and knowledge transfer
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid SAP Functional certification in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or related modules (e.g., EAM, HCM, TM, EWM, GTS, EHS, Funds Management, Real Estate)
