The Wi-R Revolution

Wi-R is our patented non-radiative near-field communication technology that creates secure "wire-like wireless" experiences through small E-field bubbles around your body. This breakthrough enables unprecedented energy efficiency at sub-0.1 nanojoules per bit, making long-term wearable and implantable devices finally practical.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle hardware architecture and development for Wi-R based reference platforms
  • Design, simulate, and prototype mixed-signal embedded systems with analog, RF, and digital components
  • Own schematic creation, PCB layout, and bring-up of low-power wearable hardware
  • Collaborate with firmware, ID, NPI, and supply chain teams for integration and delivery
  • Drive system validation, performance optimization, and production-readiness for smart glasses, wearables, and sensors
  • Translate vendor reference designs into custom, highly optimized solutions

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • PhD or MSEE with 5+ years, or BSEE with 7+ years in embedded hardware design
  • Deep knowledge of low-power analog/audio systems, RF components Wi-Fi, BT, GPS , and power circuitry
  • Proven hands-on experience with schematics, PCB layout, and debug of mixed-signal systems
  • Familiarity with embedded interfaces like I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S
  • Background in working with cross-functional software and product teams

Preferred:

  • Experience in biomedical devices, Android/Linux hardware integration, or camera systems
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: Base Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per annum ≈ $230k - $325k Bay Area equivalent after cost of living
