The Wi-R Revolution

What you'll do:

Ixana is developing various reference hardware platforms with Wi-R chips, including smart glasses, earbuds, smartwatches, EEG nodes, EMG nodes, smartphones, heart rate monitors, and smart rings.In this role, you will primarily develop boards for these hardware devices. You will be responsible for designing and leading the development and testing of miniaturized printed circuit boards using our custom Wi-R ICs and commercially available components.

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a focus on circuit design, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-8 years of experience designing circuit solutions for consumer electronics.
  • Experience with board design, schematic creation, and layout.
  • Experience using PCB design software such as Eagle, Altium Designer, or OrCAD.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB housing/package design is a plus.
  • Experience in miniaturizing PCBs.

Preferred:

  • Experience using circuit testing equipment e.g., oscilloscopes, signal generators, DC sources .
  • Knowledge of circuit design software tools e.g., Advanced Design System ADS , LTspice .
  • Excellent board-level and firmware debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of test automation using scripting languages e.g., Python or LabVIEW .
  • Knowledge of various wireless communication circuits is a plus.
  • Outstanding communication and documentation skills.
