UI FRONTEND DEVELOPER

Scope of Work

Job Title: Contractor - UI Developer (Front End Developer)
Location: MemphisTN,
Schedule: M-F 9-5 PM CST
Contract Length- 6months

UI Developer is responsible for designing and building intuitive, responsive user interfaces for web applications. This role partners with designers, product teams, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centred digital experiences.

Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features for web applications Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, scalable code Build reusable components and front-end libraries Ensure applications are optimized for speed, performance, and scalability Debug and resolve front-end issues and browser compatibility challenges Collaborate with designers and developers to improve user experience and functionality Integrate front-end code with APIs and backend services Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Requirements
7+ years of experience

Skills: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue), Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility, Experience with version control (Git). Understanding of REST APIs and integration with backend services

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

On Call: The on-call person for each team rotates weekly, with each person's turn coming up every 3 or 4 weeks depending on the size of the team. They will be expected to cover any “after-hours” validations that come up (rare occasions), and they will handle the team's daily validations through the week and over the weekend that get reported to the RELY team. Anticipate 10 or 15 minutes to complete each day.
