Assistant Production Manager- Semenyih, Selangor

Responsibilities

1. Plan daily production schedules and ensure orders are delivered on time.
2. Lead and manage production teams, including supervisors and operators.
3. Train team members and improve overall performance.
4. Ensure products meet food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, HALAL).
5. Work with QA/QC to solve quality issues and improve processes.
6. Improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
7. Coordinate machine maintenance with the maintenance team.
8. Monitor raw material usage and work with the warehouse on stock planning.
9. Ensure workplace safety and conduct regular safety checks.
10. Prepare production reports and KPI updates for management.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
2. Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 6 years in a management role.
3. Experience in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Plastics, or Packaging industries.
4. Good knowledge of food safety standards and production processes.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Able to manage multiple production lines and work under pressure.
7. Familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (AutoCount is an advantage).
8. Able to speak Mandarin or Cantonese to communicate with stakeholders.
9. Open to all genders and ages.
