MeshDefend is an early-stage VC-funded startup building an AI-Native Agentic Operating System for Enterprise Data Infrastructure. We are creating AI agents to make data infrastructure intelligent, autonomous, and secure.
Our founding team consists of seasoned technologists and inventors with a track record of building global product portfolios valued in the billions. Here, you won’t just follow a blueprint—you’ll take the wheel and help define both product and architecture from the ground up.
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who thrives in high-ownership environments and can build across the stack—from intuitive user interfaces to scalable backend systems—while integrating AI into core product workflows.


What You’ll Do
• Collaborate with founders, product managers, pre-sales, and customer success teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into product capabilities
• Partner with UX designers to refine and enhance user experiences for complex, data-driven workflows
• Design, develop, and deploy features across frontend, backend, and data layers
• Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces and robust backend services
• Develop APIs, services, and integrations for real-time, data-intensive applications
• Integrate AI capabilities such as LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent-based workflows into the product
• Design systems that are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise requirements
• Follow Shift Left Testing practices, including unit, integration, and system testing
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and DevSecOps practices to ensure reliable releases
• Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of engineering quality
• Stay adaptable and take ownership across different parts of the stack as needed


What We’re Looking For
•4-7 years of hands-on experience as a full stack engineer
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python
• Frontend experience with React, Next.js, or Angular
• Backend experience building APIs and services using Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Django)
• Solid understanding of web architecture, state management, and performance optimization
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL; familiarity with search or vector databases is a plus
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts such as LLMs, RAG, or prompt engineering is preferred
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Strong fundamentals in system design, networking, and security
