Frontend Engineering Intern (Next.js / React / TypeScript)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Frontend Engineering Intern with hands-on knowledge of Next.js, React, and TypeScript to join Irnofic's founding team. Irnofic is building a multi-tenant AI WhatsApp SaaS platform that lets businesses deploy autonomous AI assistants on WhatsApp — handling customer conversations, appointments, broadcasts, and more. You will work directly with the founding team to build the client-facing dashboard that real businesses use every day.
This is not a tutorial project. You will ship real features to a live product.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the multi-tenant client dashboard using Next.js 14 (App Router) and TypeScript.
- Implement responsive, clean UI components using Tailwind CSS from wireframes and design specs.
- Build analytics and conversation monitoring screens with real-time data from Supabase.
- Develop the client onboarding wizard — a multi-step flow for setting up WhatsApp AI assistants.
- Integrate Supabase client-side auth and real-time subscriptions for live conversation updates.
- Build campaign and broadcast management screens with filtering, scheduling, and status tracking.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product design discussions.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Solid proficiency with React — you have built something real with it, not just followed tutorials.
- Working knowledge of Next.js App Router and TypeScript.
- Comfortable building UIs with Tailwind CSS without fighting the framework.
- Can read a wireframe or rough spec and implement it independently.
- Understands REST API consumption and async data fetching patterns.
- Git basics — branching, pull requests, resolving conflicts.
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Experience with Supabase client SDK (auth, database queries, real-time).
- Familiarity with charting libraries — recharts, Chart.js, or similar.
- Prior experience building a dashboard, admin panel, or SaaS UI.
- Exposure to state management — Zustand, Jotai, or React Context patterns.
- Understanding of SSR and client/server component boundaries in Next.js 14.
Engagement Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Hybrid — Mumbai
- Compensation: Paid internship
- Screening: A small paid task will be assigned before onboarding
