About the job
We are Max and Timm, building Loadroom, an early-stage logistics software company for European road freight.
Loadroom is not another freight board. We are building a margin-aware logistics platform that helps small and mid-sized carriers understand which loads actually improve the economics of a truck-day — after empty kilometers, detours, tolls, timing constraints, driver availability, and execution risk.
We are looking for a Logistics Co-Founder or Strategic Advisor with real experience in road freight, carrier operations, dispatching, freight forwarding, TMS, fleet management, or logistics software.
You would help us:
- Stress-test the product from real logistics experience
- Sharpen the MVP and avoid building irrelevant features
- Validate carrier workflows, pricing logic, and route economics
- Open doors to carriers, forwarders, shippers, or logistics operators
- Support early pilot discussions and customer validation
We are not looking for generic startup advice. We need someone who understands how road freight actually works, what carriers care about, and where existing tools fail.
Max brings investment banking and tech-sector experience from Deutsche Bank, Bridgepoint, Ardian, Houlihan Lokey, Steen Associates, and a software startup building intelligence tools for PE firms and banks.
Timm brings investment banking experience across infrastructure, technology, energy, healthcare, consumer, and transportation, with experience at Société Générale, Raymond James, Crédit Agricole, PwC, ING, and direct exposure to logistics operations and carrier-side realities.
We are pragmatic, fast-paced, and direct. If you have deep logistics experience and want to help shape a serious FreightTech company from the ground up, we would be happy to speak.
