CuraTech is an early-stage IoT startup tackling outdoor home care. Most homeowners with a yard pay for several outdoor services every year — lawn care, mosquito control, irrigation maintenance, fertilization, pest treatment. Three or four different contractors, thousands of dollars a year, and the results are usually inconsistent.

We’re building an automated system that handles all of it. Smart connected hardware paired with cloud software that runs the entire outdoor environment from one platform - no truck rolls, no scheduling, no juggling vendors. Set it up and let it run.

Outdoor property services is a multi-billion-dollar industry, and there is nothing on the market like what we’re building.

The role
You’ll own the technical product end-to-end:
• Mechanical and electrical design of all hardware
• Firmware development and cloud-managed device architecture
• Manufacturing partnerships from prototype through volume production
• IP strategy alongside the founding team
• Active partner in raising the seed round
• Equal voice on product, hiring, and company direction

About you
• Mechanical and electrical engineering background — ideally both
• Has shipped real hardware
• Wants to be the technical co-founder of a startup, not an employee
• Comfortable in early-stage ambiguity

Nice to have
• Connected / IoT hardware experience
• Experience taking a product through tooling into volume manufacturing
• Past startup or founding experience
• Lives or is willing to move to the Panhandle of Florida
