Role Description
Our team is looking for a Principle/Senior Software Engineer to join us in building and scaling our platform (a next-generation e-commerce platform combining a marketplace with workflow tools to support modern workplaces manage catering / pantry / meals).

We are looking for folk who are ever-curious and love crafting experiences that delight customers.

You will help invent new features, design, develop and deploy next generation products as the company grows.

What you will be doing:

• Oversee and maintain critical backend infrastructure components to ensure ecommerce platform stability and performance.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of new features and services; with specific consideration of database modelling efforts (to meet data archival/logging requirements).
• Conduct code reviews, and foster a technical excellence culture.
• Build, maintain, optimise and shape our product, with specific consideration for: the development of workflow tools to assist both sides of the marketplace (customers and suppliers) communicate, coordinate and transact.

Your Profile:

• You strive to become a software craftsperson; aiming to achieve professional excellence in the art you build
• You have a great understanding of clean, modular and maintainable software architecture
• You are curious and enjoy being creative

Key requirements:

• Backend Developer / Software Engineer
• TypeScript / Node / JavaScript
• Excellent SQL (Postgres or MySQL)
