AI Automation Engineer (Contract)

AI Deploy Labs is an APAC-focused AI implementation and deployment firm helping organizations bridge the gap between AI experimentation and operational implementation.

We work with businesses across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and the broader APAC region to identify, build, and deploy practical AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate workflows, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

We are currently building a network of experienced AI engineers, automation specialists, and solutions architects who can support client engagements on a project and contract basis.

We are seeking an AI Automation Engineer to help design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflow automation solutions for clients across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement workflow automation solutions using modern automation platforms
• Build AI agents and AI-powered business process automations
• Integrate AI systems with CRMs, databases, messaging platforms, and enterprise applications
• Develop API and webhook integrations
• Translate business requirements into practical automation solutions
• Support deployment, testing, and optimization of production automation workflows
• Collaborate with solutions architects and AI engineers on client projects

Requirements

• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
• Experience integrating APIs and third-party applications
• Understanding of AI agents, LLMs, and AI-powered workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Professional English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or other LLM platforms
• Experience with WhatsApp integrations and conversational AI
• Experience with Python or JavaScript
• Experience with CRM platforms and business process automation
• Experience working with enterprise clients

Remote (APAC Preferred)
