Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Geopolitical Analyst to monitor, assess, and interpret global political, security, economic, and strategic developments. The ideal candidate will provide actionable insights on geopolitical risks, international relations, defense affairs, and emerging global trends that may impact business operations, investments, and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Monitor global political, economic, security, and military developments.
Conduct research on international relations, regional conflicts, and geopolitical risk factors.
Produce analytical reports, briefings, and strategic assessments.
Track developments related to major powers, emerging markets, and international organizations.
Analyze sanctions, trade policies, regulatory changes, and political risk indicators.
Support clients and internal stakeholders with timely intelligence and recommendations.
Develop scenario-based assessments and forecasting models for geopolitical events.
Present findings through written reports and verbal briefings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Area Studies, Economics, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of global affairs, geopolitics, and international security issues.
Excellent research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear and concise assessments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience using open-source intelligence (OSINT) and international data sources is preferred.
Familiarity with U.S., China, Europe, Middle East, or Indo-Pacific geopolitical issues is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a relevant field.
Experience in geopolitical risk consulting, think tanks, government, defense, intelligence, media, or international organizations.
Publication record, policy research experience, or demonstrated expertise in a specific geographic region.
