About the Role
Most brands post content. Very few engineer virality. At Kitab, we’re looking for a Content Creator who treats social media like a lab — someone obsessive about understanding why people stop scrolling, what makes them stay, and what earns the share. You won’t just be “making posts.” You’ll be building the system that makes Kitab impossible to ignore online.
This role lives at the intersection of psychology, data, and creativity. You’ll research what’s working across platforms, form hypotheses about attention and retention, run rapid experiments, and when something hits — you’ll turn it into a repeatable framework. The goal isn’t one viral moment. It’s consistent, engineered virality with the systems to sustain it.
If you spend hours dissecting why a reel blew up, if you think in hooks and payoffs, if you believe great content is built on understanding human behavior — we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
• Own Kitab’s social media content strategy end-to-end — from research to ideation to execution to analysis
• Obsessively study what’s working across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn) — dissect hooks, retention curves, engagement patterns, and virality triggers
• Develop hypotheses about what captures and holds attention for Kitab’s audience, then design rapid experiments to validate them
• Build repeatable content frameworks and playbooks — once we find what works, systematize it so we can replicate consistently
• Create high-quality short-form and long-form content: reels, carousels, threads, stories, and video scripts
• Track performance metrics religiously, run post-mortems on every piece, and feed learnings back into the system
• Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, emerging formats, and cultural moments that Kitab can ride
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years creating content for social media with demonstrable traction (show us the numbers)
• Deep understanding of attention economics — you think about hooks, pattern interrupts, retention loops, and reward structures instinctively
• A researcher’s mindset: you don’t just create, you study why things work, document patterns, and build systems around them
• Strong grasp of human psychology and online behavior — you understand how people perceive, process, and share content
• Comfort with rapid experimentation: you can ship 10 ideas fast, kill 8, and double down on the 2 that work
• Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Figma, or equivalents) and basic analytics platforms
• Bonus: experience in the astrology, wellness, or spirituality space
How We Think About Content
Hook → Hold → Reward. Every piece of content we publish is designed around this loop. The hook stops the scroll. The structure holds attention. The payoff makes the user feel something — seen, surprised, smarter. Your job is to master each stage, measure what’s working, and build the machine that delivers this consistently at scale.
How to Apply
Submit your application along with a portfolio of your best-performing content. Include links to live posts, analytics screenshots, or case studies showing what you created, what worked, and what you learned. We care about the thinking behind the content as much as the content itself.
