Accountant

We're an early-stage voice agent startup building conversational AI that talks like a human. As we scale, we need someone to own our finances and keep the books clean so the founders can focus on the product. This is a hands-on role with real ownership over how money moves through the company.

What you'll do

-Track revenue and expenses across all accounts, keeping records accurate and up to date

• Reconcile incoming and outgoing payments against invoices and bank statements
• Handle GST filings and ensure payments are made correctly and on time -Follow up on outstanding and missing payments from clients and vendors
• Prepare a clear monthly financial report for the founders, covering cash flow, burn, and key numbers

What we're looking for

-Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally at a startup or small business
-Solid working knowledge of GST and Indian tax compliance
-Comfort with accounting tools (Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
-Strong attention to detail and the discipline to chase down loose ends
-Someone who can work independently and communicate numbers clearly to founders

Nice to have

-CA / CA Inter / CMA qualification (or in progress)
-Experience working with early-stage or fast-moving teams
