Cleared Systems Architect- TS/SCI Clearance Required

Hybrid Structure: 4 days/week onsite in Dulles, VA

Compensation: $200,000-$250,000

This role is for a sophisticated Senior Systems Architect who is experienced in leading architecture and system designs for complex web applications and also still loves to code. This job will be 75% on site in Dulles, VA at a cleared TS/SCI facility leading integration efforts, and 25% remote work from home.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, rapid, and repeatable software delivery.
• Supporting the DevSecOps pipelines and security procedures to help programs achieve ATO
• Deploying and maintaining server installations, monitoring, and alerting
• Leading planning meetings and coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Supporting test and deployment of new products and features
• Participating in code reviews

Qualifications

• TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 7+ years of relevant work experience
• 2+ years experience as a team lead / lead architect
• Strong proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging applications
• Ability to develop and maintain scripting and automation
• DoD / Defense Industry Experience

Nice to Have

• Security+ Certification
• NGA experience
• Experience architecting systems for real-time data, high-performance visualization, and/or distributed computing.
• Deep expertise in DevOps tools such as GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm, Nexus.
• Familiarity with containerized deployment, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and hybrid cloud/on-prem architectures.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, reusability, and user-centric workflows in enterprise environments.
• Self-motivated individuals who can examine the field and identify areas for improvement independently
