Aethreallegence is building the inventory cognition infrastructure layer for physical retail. Not a camera system. Not a checkout tool. A continuous presence cognition platform that maintains inventory truth across a store environment and corrects it in real time when reality drifts from the record. We are pre-revenue, patent-pending, and moving fast. This is a founding equity role for someone who wants to build something that has not been built before.
The Role

We're building depth on our backend team. You'd work alongside our Backend Lead, who owns the core API and application layer, and take ownership of the infrastructure and reliability side: deployment pipelines, system integration, cloud infrastructure, and getting the component-level ML and CV work wired into a functioning end-to-end system. The core pipeline exists (segmentation, embeddings, vector database, cloud infrastructure). We need an engineer who strengthens how it all runs, deploys, and scales. If you've owned CI/CD, containerized deployments, event-driven integration, and production reliability, this is your lane.
