Sara Minkara, a former Ambassador-level U.S. diplomat, global thought leader, speaker, and pioneer of the In the Dark Methodology, a high-impact experiential methodology and blindfolded experience that she has facilitated in spaces including the Fortune COO Summit and with clients like the World Bank Group. Sara is a current Young Global Leader Fellow and as the former Special Advisor on International Disability Rights under the Biden Administration, the foremost authority on disability foreign policy.
Position Overview:
We are searching for a proactive, commission-based Senior Growth Executive & Partnerships) who can represent and scale Sara’s globally recognized executive voice across speaking, corporate engagements, strategic partnerships, and media. This is a revenue-driving position for a candidate experienced in positioning executive talent and managing high-level deals.
The ideal candidate understands how to operate at the intersection of global policy, executive leadership, and authentic storytelling, and uses that knowledge to develop strategic and lasting partnerships that lead to premium engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage prospective clients to secure high-value speaking engagements across global conferences, corporate events, and leadership summits.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with corporations, nonprofit, executive teams, and institutional clients.
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities across corporate, nonprofit, and global policy ecosystems.
- Identify opportunities to bring In the Dark into new markets by packaging and selling workshops, retreats, and immersive leadership experiences.
- Negotiate contracts, speaking fees, and partnership agreements.
- Strategically position the brand for long-term growth and market positioning.
- Act as a trusted advisor on deal flow, pricing, and opportunity selection.
Core Competencies:
- Proven track record in talent representation, speaker booking, business development, or high-level sales.
- Experience building and maintaining high-level, long-term relationships with corporate, nonprofit, and institutional leaders and brands.
- Deep understanding of executive audience and global leadership spaces.
- A skilled negotiator with strong commercial instincts.
- A strong marketing mindset that can build and scale a personal brand into a global platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent clients with clarity and professionalism.
- A strategic thinker who can write eye-catching proposals and help further develop and scale In the Dark programming
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven role.
Compensation:
- 20% commission on all revenue generated directly by the agent.
- No cap on earnings; upside scales with deal size and volume.
