SEO Intern

As an SEO Intern at yMedia — an 8-year-old AI content marketing studio — you’ll help improve our clients’ digital visibility across search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms. You’ll collaborate with our content and marketing teams to optimize website content, implement SEO/AEO/GEO strategies, conduct keyword research, and support organic growth initiatives across blogs, websites, and digital campaigns.

Responsibilities :

1. SEO, AEO & GEO Optimization

• Assist in developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, website traffic, and search visibility.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping.
• Optimize website pages using on-page and off-page SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with the content team to review, optimize, and publish content as per SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) guidelines.
• Improve content discoverability across traditional search engines as well as AI-powered search and answer platforms.
• Work on metadata optimization, internal linking, schema implementation, and content structuring.
• Track website performance and identify growth opportunities using SEO tools and analytics platforms.

2. Content Marketing

• Assist in creating engaging and SEO-friendly content for blogs, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
• Coordinate with content writers and designers to ensure content aligns with brand tone and audience intent.
• Support content optimization initiatives to improve readability, rankings, and engagement.

3. Social Media Support

• Assist in managing social media activities to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement.
• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for organic brand promotion.
• Support content distribution and visibility efforts across digital platforms.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in content strategy, AI-driven search trends, and organic growth marketing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills :

• Knowledge of on-page SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
• Understanding of AEO/GEO concepts and evolving AI search ecosystems.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends.
