We're an early-stage startup moving fast. You'll work directly with the founding team and have an outsized impact on how customers experience the product from day one.

The Role

We're hiring our first Technical Solutions Engineer to be the bridge between PomexAI and our customers. You'll run product demos for creative agencies and AI teams, help new customers integrate our API into their pipelines, debug their issues, write the docs and tutorials that the next 100 customers will read, and bring what you learn back to the product team.
This is a generalist role at a startup. You'll wear multiple hats: sales engineer during demos, support engineer when customers hit issues, technical writer when our docs need work, and customer advocate when something in the product needs to change. If you want to learn how a startup actually works while doing technically meaningful work, this is the seat.

What you'll do

• Run live product demos for prospective customers — creative agencies, video production teams, and developer/AI teams evaluating PomexAI.
• Onboard new customers and help them integrate the PomexAI API into their workflows, from first API call to production.
• Debug customer issues across the stack — API errors, integration bugs, model behavior, billing questions — and either solve them or escalate cleanly to engineering.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, code samples, and tutorials.
• Build internal tools and scripts to make your own job (and the team's job) easier as the customer base grows.
• Be the voice of the customer internally — surface patterns from support conversations to inform product priorities.

What we're looking for

• Recent BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfortable writing code in at least one language (Python Go preferred) — you don't need to be a senior engineer, but you should be able to read someone else's API integration and tell what's wrong with it.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP, authentication patterns, and command-line tools. Familiar with common APIs and parameters for Claude, Gemini, and GPT models.
• Strong written and verbal communication — you can explain a technical concept to a non-technical creative director, and you can write a doc that someone can actually follow.
• Customer-facing instincts: you genuinely like helping people, you don't get defensive when something breaks, and you stay calm under pressure.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, early-stage environment where the answer isn't always documented yet.
• Available during US business hours.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (image or video models, LLM APIs, etc.) — either as a builder or a serious user.
• Prior internship or project experience in developer relations, solutions engineering, customer success, or technical support.
• Experience writing technical documentation, blog posts, or tutorials.
• Bilingual English/Chinese — useful as we expand.
• Background in or passion for video, film, or creative content production.
