Our client, a well-respected manufacturer, is growing and developing, organically and through acquisitions. They are a high-quality manufacturer. This is a newly created Senior Accountant position due to growth that will be responsible for accounting and FP&A to support the business and strategy decisions. Position will analyze financial results, evaluate drivers for operational results and business performance and identify areas of opportunity. This is a broad role that will also gain exposure to M&A work, purchase accounting, integration of acquired companies, work on non-accounting projects, and deliver executive reports for parent company and investors. Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant
- Assist with ME/QE/YE closing activities
- Assist with M&A and integration work
- Assist with FP&A and business strategy
- Maintain financials in compliance with policies and procedures
- Prepare balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with accounting processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Assist with financial analysis for performance
- Calculate and analyze expenses
Qualifications Of The Senior Accountant
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related
- Experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Audit
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus
- Public Accounting experience a plus
- Strong data analytics and math skills
- Advanced excel skills including
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work with cross functionally
