CardMatch is a free fintech platform that helps users discover and compare 40+ credit cards based on their spending habits, credit profile, and financial goals.
The platform is independently built by a university student and launched publicly in May 2026. Within the first three days after launch, CardMatch attracted over 1,000 unique users and continues to grow.
Our mission is to make credit card recommendations transparent and unbiased. We do not use affiliate links, sponsored rankings, or pay-for-placement partnerships. Recommendations are generated solely from user inputs and a custom scoring engine.
Role Overview
We are looking for detail-oriented Mobile & Web App Testers to help improve the quality, reliability, and user experience of CardMatch across desktop and mobile devices.
You will test features, identify bugs, suggest usability improvements, and work directly with the founder to help shape a real product used by actual users.
Responsibilities
• Test CardMatch on desktop and mobile browsers
• Identify and document bugs, UI issues, and edge cases
• Verify recommendation accuracy and input validation
• Provide feedback on design and user experience
• Reproduce issues and confirm fixes
• Submit findings using Google Docs, Notion, or GitHub Issues
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in software engineering, QA, fintech, or startups
• Ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely
• No prior professional experience required
Nice to Have
• Experience with QA testing or beta testing
• Familiarity with GitHub Issues, Jira, or similar tools
• Interest in personal finance or credit cards

Compensation
