Senior Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our small and mighty engineering team. You will play a key role in shaping, architecting, and building our product. In this role, you'll have a direct impact on the business through a variety of projects across the
stack.

Responsibilities

• We’re a true full-stack team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on all facets of bringing a project to life - from architecting to building on both the frontend and backend.
• Communicate your solutions, reasoning, and decisions asynchronously and in writing in a clear and effective manner.
• Partner with product to set product priorities, define project requirements, shape solutions, and develop overall concepts for new product features and changes.
• Maintain existing applications through refactoring, bug fixes, performance improvements, and upgrades.
• Perform code reviews to help us maintain quality and consistency standards.
• Work cross-functionally to drive the development of features that maximize business impact and solve customer problems and frustrations.

Must-haves

• In-depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails and best practices
• Ability to think carefully and weigh complex tradeoffs with an eye toward long-term product success and business goals
• History of explicit, clear, and detailed written and verbal communication
• Based in North America

• Experience working with Turbo, Stimulus, Postgres, Redis, Heroku
