About the job
Company Description
Carberry & Hanrahan is a small Irish design studio working with startups and product teams building modern B2B SaaS tools and digital products.
We’re looking for a Product Designer who’s ready to take ownership, move fast, and design thoughtful, high-quality product experiences.
What you'll do
- Lead UX/UI design across web apps, mobile products, and marketing pages
- Turn user insights into clear, usable product experiences
- Build and evolve scalable design systems for real-world teams
- Present your work directly to clients and explain design decisions with confidence
- Collaborate closely with developers to ship high-quality implementations
- Work across multiple projects in a fast, async-friendly environment
- Use AI tools to speed up ideation, UX writing, prototyping, and exploration
- Keep files clean, structured, and ready for handoff every week
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in product design, UX, UI, or interaction design
- A portfolio showing shipped or near-shipped product features
- Understanding of core UX principles (usability, hierarchy, accessibility, flows)
- Experience working with or contributing to design systems
- Experience conducting User Research and UX Research to gather insights for informed decision-making
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, and excellent communication of design concepts
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Detail-oriented with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
- Interest in designing AI-powered features (chat interfaces, assistants, recommendations)
- Ability to use prompt-based workflows and AI-assisted prototyping or a willingness to learn.
Tools you'll use
We work with a modern, AI-augmented design stack:
- Design & Prototyping: Figma, Framer, AI-assisted design tools (e.g. Claude-based workflows)
- Documentation & Collaboration: Notion
- Communication: Slack, Zoom, Loom
- AI tools for ideation, copy, prototyping, and research support
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
