Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and technical specifications
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and checklists
• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently
• Validate bug fixes and ensure product stability before release
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA discussions
• Ensure a smooth and high-quality user experience across platforms
• Contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience testing web applications and responsive interfaces
• Good knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like Jira, ClickUp, or Linear
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment
