About the job
The job
Want to build something truly new — fast, ambitious, and a little bit wild?
My name is Nick. I'm the CEO of voiceERP. And we're reimagining what it's like to work as a frontline employee.
We're building Viki: an AI manager for hourly workers.
Think Siri — except she's your boss. And she speaks without being asked.
It's ambitious. It's strange. And it works. Today, thousands of Amazon delivery drivers talk to Viki every single day. She runs payroll review, handles dispatch calls, monitors routes in real time, and joins drivers in their cab through our hands-free mobile app, Zap.
That's why this role matters so much.
Who we are
We are a seed-stage company backed by Salesforce VC and Pejman Nozad / Pear (the #1 Seed Investor according to Forbes). We're closing in on $1M of annualized revenue, having grown >12x in 8 months.
Our technology includes a patent-pending protocol that powers real-time AI agent communications. Our customers are pulling us into adjacent industries faster than we can keep up. And we're just getting started.
We're based in Cleveland. We pay generously. And we have a lot of fun.
The Role
We're looking for a sharp, product-minded, ship-fast full-stack engineer with 2-5 years of experience.
You'll work directly with our CTO and a small, elite engineering team to build the systems behind an AI that manages real people in the real world.
This is not a typical engineering role. This is not maintenance work. This is not a ticket queue.
We're shipping into uncharted territory:
- How do you build an AI that talks first, without being asked?
- How do you make voice latency feel instant, even over LTE in a delivery van?
- How do you design systems where an AI is the one giving instructions — and getting it wrong has real consequences?
- How do you scale a product that's growing 10x a year without breaking it?
If we do this right, we'll make work feel better for millions of people. If we do it wrong, we'll make their lives miserable.
No pressure.
What You'll Do
- Build full-stack features end-to-end — backend services, frontend dashboards, mobile integrations
- Ship AI-native product — LLM pipelines, voice flows, real-time decisioning
- Own meaningful surfaces of the product from spec to production
- Work directly with customers to debug, learn, and iterate fast
- Translate ambiguous product ideas into clean, durable systems
- Sweat the details — performance, reliability, the texture of the interaction
- Help define the engineering culture from the ground up
You will have real ownership, real influence, and real responsibility from day one.
Who You Are
This role is about taste, judgment, and velocity more than resumes.
You might be a great fit if:
- You have 2-5 years of experience building real, shipped products
- You are comfortable anywhere in the stack — and have strong opinions about parts of it
- You care about craft, clarity, and code quality
- You notice when something feels "off" in a product, even if you can't explain why yet
- You ship fast and iterate faster
- You enjoy responsibility and aren't afraid of ambiguity
- You want to grow very fast, very early in your career
Bonus if you've worked with LLMs, voice tech, real-time systems, or have shipped a product that real users depend on. None of those are required. What matters most is how you think and how fast you move.
Why This Is Special
- You'll work directly with the CEO & CTO
- You'll build something that millions of blue-collar workers may interact with daily
- You'll help define a new category of human-AI interaction
- You'll have immediate, visible impact
- You'll be paid well and trusted early
- You'll be in Cleveland — low cost of living, real ownership, no Bay Area noise
This is a rare chance to shape something foundational, at a moment where the technology, the market, and the team are all clicking.
How to Apply
If this resonates:
- Talk to Viki
- Tell us why this role interests you
- Send us code you're proud of — a repo, a project, a side hustle, anything
Thank you,
Nicholas Bashour
