React Native Mobile Developer (iOS + Android)

Dancify is a mobile-first festival platform for the global social dance community. The platform helps dancers discover events, connect with verified attendees, and organize their festival experience.

Current stage:

• Pre-launch MVP build
• 540+ waitlist signups
• 11K+ Instagram audience
• Pilot festivals in Amsterdam

The Role

You will build the mobile application in React Native using Expo while collaborating with the backend lead developer.

UI/UX designs will be provided in Figma.

Compensation is equity-first and milestone-based. The role also includes a predefined deferred settlement cap of up to €6,000 EUR that may optionally be used in the future if the company secures funding or operating revenue.

Any future settlement remains entirely at company discretion and would only apply in exchange for reducing or repurchasing some portion of vested equity.

Contractors are not co-founders and do not receive governance or voting rights.

Requirements

1. 3+ years building production React Native apps
2. Strong TypeScript and React Navigation experience
3. At least 2 published mobile apps
4. Experience with notifications and Expo ecosystem
5. Comfortable implementing Figma designs
6. Self-directed and milestone-driven
7. Strong written English
8. Available for one weekly sync call

Intellectual Property & Ownership

All work produced under this agreement, including code, designs, technical systems, assets, and implementations, becomes the exclusive intellectual property of Dancify upon creation and milestone approval.

Contractors are not co-founders and do not receive governance rights, voting rights, or executive authority through equity compensation unless separately agreed in writing.
