JD for Embedded Code Developer
Key Responsibilities:
Software Design and Development:
Designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for embedded systems, including microcontrollers and processors. Writing efficient, reliable, and optimized code in languages like C/C++, Assembly, Python, MicroPython. Must have working experience on uCs from more than 3 different manufacturers.
Proto Sample Development:
Must be familiar (Programming & Using) with the Development & Prototyping platforms like Arduino, ESP, Ruspberry Pi, so that working samples can be produced quickly.
Hardware-Software Integration:
Knowledge of hardware components will be cosidered as added advantage. Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components, addressing potential issues with communication and compatibility.
Testing and Debugging:
Performing thorough testing to ensure software functionality, stability, and reliability, and debugging any issues to identify and resolve problems.
Documentation and Maintenance:
Version Control, Creating and maintaining detailed documentation, including code documentation, technical manuals, and diagnostic reports, and performing regular maintenance to ensure system stability.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in C/C++.
Understanding of microcontroller architectures (ARM, AVR, PIC, etc.).
Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.).
Experience with tools like Keil, IAR, MPLAB, STM32, CubeIDE, etc.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications (optional but beneficial):
Experience with Embedded Linux or RTOS.
Exposure to IoT systems, wireless communication (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
Knowledge of PCB design tools and hardware schematics.
