About the job

The Week In Fantasy™ (TWIF) is an innovative platform dedicated to helping fantasy football managers of all skill levels make better, more informed decisions by marrying qualitative insights from the fantasy analyst ecosystem and traditional quantitative data analytics. Scouring the internet, listening to hours of podcasts, and stitching together stats for roster decisions, while balancing work, family, and life, just isn't feasible for most people. Our AI powered platform fixes that by synthesizing the content and analytics universe into clear, roster-specific insights that help managers make winning decisions while saving hundreds of hours of research time.

We’re a pre-funding startup coming off a successful public beta last season, and we’re driving toward a major scale-up in 2026. We’re looking for a technical co-builder to join our small founding team (spanning product, design, and strategy) and help us get there.

The Tech Stack

Our architecture is modern, fast, and lean. You’ll be stepping into a well-defined environment:

Frontend: React (Vite), Node 22

Mobile: Capacitor (bridging our web experience to iOS/Android)

API Layer: FastAPI / Python

Backend & Auth: Supabase / PostgreSQL

Infrastructure: GitHub-driven CI/CD, deployed via Cloudflare and Render

The Role

As our Full Stack Developer, you’ll have a seat at the table for all major product decisions. You’ll be responsible for:

Feature Development: Moving from beta features to a polished, best-in-class user experience. Think draft-day tools, content exploration and free agent or trade analysis.

AI & Intelligence: Building AI-powered virtual GM, lineup recommendations and insights that turn raw data and analyst content into actionable guidance for our users.

Mobile Optimization: Refining the Capacitor wrapper to deliver a native feel on iOS and Android.

API Orchestration: Building and maintaining robust FastAPI endpoints to handle real-time sports data ingestion and processing.

Database Management: Optimizing Supabase/Postgres queries for speed and reliability as we scale.

Who You Are

Fantasy Football Fanatic: You’ve played multiple seasons, consume fantasy content regularly, and understand the real needs of fantasy managers.

Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency across React, Python, and SQL, with experience shipping production systems end-to-end. Bonus points for real-time data pipelines, mobile hybrid frameworks, or AI/LLM integration.

A Builder: You love the 0-to-1 phase. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy the founding-developer grind.

Entrepreneurial Mindset: You aren’t looking for a 9-to-5; you’re looking for a stake in something you helped create.

Compensation & Commitment

This is an equity-only position to start. We’re pre-funding and looking for a true co-builder—someone willing to trade near-term cash for meaningful ownership in what we’re creating.

As we hit our next milestones—scaling past beta and closing our first funding round—this role is designed to transition into a salaried position. We’re building a real company, and we want you to own a real piece of it.
