Role Description

We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) based in Dallas, TX.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will work directly with clients to solve high-value business problems using real data. You will operate in the client environment, building and iterating solutions in real time, and driving outcomes from concept through production.

This is not a traditional delivery role. You will combine problem framing, engineering, and stakeholder engagement to deliver working solutions quickly and scale what drives impact.

What you will do

• Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand business problems, define high-impact use cases
• Build and deploy applications on Palantir Foundry and AIP using real customer data
• Translate ambiguous problems into structured data workflows, models, and applications
• Iterate live with users to refine solutions and drive adoption
• Own outcomes tied to business value, not just technical delivery
• Partner across engineering, data, and business teams to move from concept to production quickly
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience in software development with proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Typescript, etc.)
• Solid understanding of data modeling, APIs, and backend systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage directly with customers and explain complex concepts simply
• Experience in customer-facing or client delivery roles preferred

Preferred

• Experience working with Palantir Technologies Foundry or AIP
• Palantir Application Developer Certification (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data architectures
• Experience building data-driven applications or AI-enabled workflows
