Principal Solutions Architect

Position Overview:

The Principal Solutions Architect is responsible for leading end to end architecture,
solutioning, and technical validation across complex, multi domain engagements spanning
Agentic AI, cloud, data, and security.

This role serves as the primary technical authority in client facing and internal
engagements, with full accountability for translating business requirements into scalable,
secure, and production ready systems.

The individual is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, driving architectural
decisions under ambiguity and ensuring that solutions are not only well designed, but also
executable and validated through implementation.

Key Accountabilities

1. End to End Solution Ownership
   Own the complete solution lifecycle from discovery through production readiness.
   ● Translate business objectives into structured architecture and system design
   ● Define end to end solution blueprints across infrastructure, application, data, AI, and
   integration layers
   ● Ensure alignment with scalability, performance, cost efficiency, and security
   requirements

2. Solutioning and Decision Making
   Lead architecture definition in high complexity, multi stakeholder environments.
   ● Evaluate multiple solution approaches and define clear trade offs across cost,
   latency, scalability, maintainability, and risk
   ● Drive decisions to closure in scenarios involving incomplete requirements and
   competing constraints
   ● Act as the single point of accountability for architecture direction

3. Solution Build and Validation
   Ensure architectural decisions are grounded in execution reality.
   ● Validate designs through prototypes, POCs, or reference implementations where
   required
   ● Step into implementation for critical or high risk components to de risk solution
   feasibility
   ● Guide engineering teams in translating architecture into working systems
   ● Ensure minimal gap between architecture design and delivery execution

4. Customer Facing Technical Leadership
   Act as the primary technical advisor in client engagements.
   ● Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and executive discussions
   ● Own technical solutioning for proposals, RFPs, and strategic pursuits
   ● Present complex architectures with clarity, connecting business outcomes to
   technical decisions

5. Cross Domain Integration
   Drive unified architecture across multiple technology domains.
   ● Integrate inputs from AI Agents, Cloud Infra, Data, and Security teams into a cohesive
   solution
   ● Eliminate fragmented or siloed designs
   ● Resolve conflicting recommendations with clear and structured direction

6. Architecture Quality and Engineering Rigor
   Ensure all solutions meet enterprise grade standards.
   ● Design for scalability, fault tolerance, and low latency
   ● Incorporate failure handling, recovery strategies, and observability into system
   design
   ● Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices

7. Cloud and Platform Expertise
   Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
   ● Select appropriate services and architectural patterns based on use case
   requirements
   ● Balance managed services and custom implementations
   ● Optimize for cost, performance, and operational complexity

8. AI and Data Integration
   Design and implement AI and data driven systems as part of broader architectures.
   ● Integrate AI capabilities such as RAG pipelines, model orchestration, and agent
   based systems into enterprise workflows
   ● Ensure alignment with data platforms, APIs, and operational systems
   ● Evaluate the necessity and impact of AI driven approaches based on business
   context

9. Architecture Governance and Reusability
   Drive consistency and scale in solutioning.
   ● Define and apply architecture principles, patterns, and standards
   ● Conduct architecture reviews and guide engineering teams
   ● Build reusable reference architectures and solution accelerators

Experience and Qualifications

● 10+ years of experience in designing and building distributed systems and enterprise
architectures
● Proven experience in both:
○ Solution architecture
○ Hands on system implementation or engineering
● Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services
● Broad exposure across multiple domains such as:
○ Data platforms
○ Agentic AI and machine learning systems
○ Distributed application design
○ Security and networking
● Demonstrated experience in customer facing roles including presales, architecture
workshops, and technical discussions

Role Context

This role is positioned as the central point of architectural ownership across engagements.
The expectation is to bring clarity, consistency, and execution depth to solution design,
ensuring that complex, multi domain problems are translated into practical and scalable
systems.

enabling independent, high quality architecture decision making.
