Technical Program Manager

Tektronix Component Solutions is seeking a strategic and driven Technical Program Manager to lead high‑impact microelectronics manufacturing, test, and internal capability development initiatives at our Beaverton, OR headquarters. In this role, you will be at the center of program execution and decision‑making—guiding cross‑functional teams, strengthening internal technical and operational capabilities, and driving complex initiatives from concept through implementation.

This position is well suited for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, excels at building alignment across engineering, operations, and business functions, and is motivated by delivering sustainable internal improvements alongside product and technology outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver technical and operational programs on time, within budget, and to defined quality and performance standards.
  • Drive internal capability development initiatives, including manufacturing readiness, test infrastructure, process improvement, and technology enablement projects.
  • Implement Daily and Visual Management tools to monitor KPIs, improve execution rigor, and support continuous improvement.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and business leaders to translate strategic objectives into executable program plans.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and resource risks proactively to ensure program continuity and long‑term organizational benefit.
  • Provide clear, data‑driven program updates and risk assessments to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and disciplined execution across technical and business teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering measurable results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical decisions, trade‑offs, and status in written and spoken English.
  • Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to influence without authority, resolve conflict, and motivate cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and execution in a matrixed, technically complex organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of technical or program management experience, ideally within microelectronics, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Experience leading internal development, process improvement, or capability‑building initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, MS Planner, and Jira
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., ITAR) or defense‑adjacent programs is a plus.
  • PMI/PMP certification preferred; equivalent experience or training considered.
