Business Intelligence Developer

Overview

CubeSmart is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with experience in Qlik Sense or a similar technology to create high‑quality dashboards, data models, and analytics applications that deliver actionable insights for the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports, dashboards, visualizations, and data models
• Build QVD layers, load scripts, and efficient ETL logic
• Manage Qlik Cloud components including spaces, data connections, reload tasks, and app deployments
• Optimize app performance, data loads, and user experience
• Work with business partners to translate requirements into intuitive BI solutions
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and adherence to BI governance standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related technical field
• 3–5+ years of BI development experience
• Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense or a similar cloud based BI solution
• Strong Qlik or similar scripting, data modeling, and hands-on skills with SQL
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or Big Query), Databricks preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects at once, with the ability to properly prioritize one’s own work and the work of others
