Systems Engineering Technician

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience working in data centers or large engineering labs.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Perforce.
• Experience with DCIM tools such as Nautobot.
• Scripting experience with shell, Python, and,or Ansible.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols and services including TCP,IP, DNS, NFS, and SSL.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Experience working with PCBs, GPUs, and system deployments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven problem-solving ability and strong collaboration skills.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience managing HPC clusters using tools such as BCM and Slurm.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent.
• Strong background in Windows and Linux administration.
• Understanding of dense datacenter design across compute, storage, and networking.
• Experience with hypervisors and virtual machine platforms.
• Knowledge of datacenter infrastructure, including liquid-cooling environments.
• Demonstrated technical curiosity and innovation.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on, physical work.
• High energy, ownership mindset, and ability to push work to completion.
• Willingness to go beyond baseline expectations when required.
