Sr. Devops ( AWS - 6+ yrs)

Job Summary :

At Doctus Tech we are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience, who will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Python, we'd love to speak with you.

Objectives of this Role :

• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS/Azure cloud-based production system.

• Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS/Azure production systems.

• Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.

• Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.

• System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.

• Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.

• Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.

• Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.

• Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.

• Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.

Required Skills :

• 5+ Experience is a must have

• Experience with the core AWS services, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ELK, etc.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used AWS ECS or EKS in the past is a plus.

• Must have strong understanding in networking concepts.

• Experience in working in multiple production deployments. (Preferably Python project deployments)

• Must have strong understanding with CI/CD Pipeline integration

• Must have strong understanding with High Availability systems and Single of Point failures protections

• Experience with JSON or YAML is plus.

• Experience with core Azure services is a plus.

Candidates must have :

• Own laptop (at least 16GB RAM and i5 processor)

• Internet connectivity/Wi-fi

• Power backup during power cuts.
