Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Leeds UK (Hybrid)

3 Months FTC

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in business analysis functions and a solid understanding of .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and implemented effectively in .NET-based applications.Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement walkthroughs.
• Technical Understanding:
  • Work closely with .NET development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Understand .NET architecture, APIs, and integration points to provide accurate technical inputs.
• Documentation:
  • Prepare BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and user stories.
  • Create process flows, data models, and system diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a liaison between business users, QA, and development teams.
  • Manage expectations and ensure timely communication of project progress.
• Testing & Validation:
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate that delivered solutions meet business needs.
  • Assist in creating test cases and scenarios based on requirements.
• Agile/Scrum Participation:
  • Work in Agile environments, participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in .NET-based projects.
• Strong understanding of .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, REST APIs, and integration concepts.
• Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Visio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-Have:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• CBAP or similar BA certification is a plus.
