Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi-jurisdictional projects related to permitting, site preparation, program implementation, and long-term program maintenance. This role is responsible for managing high-impact projects from initiation through completion while serving as a trusted point of contact for customers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
The Senior Project Manager will provide leadership, oversight, and mentorship to junior project staff, drive accountability across timelines and deliverables, and ensure projects are executed efficiently, compliantly, and to Blue Line Solutions’ quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead in fast-paced environments involving public agencies and technical system installations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Relationship Management
- Lead and manage assigned projects from planning through execution and closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, government agencies, and key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with municipal partners, vendors, and internal teams.
- Provide clear, consistent communication and project updates to internal leadership and external partners.
- Represent Blue Line Solutions professionally in meetings, site visits, and customer engagements.
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and forecasts.
- Oversee permitting activities, site preparation, and compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with contractual requirements.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, status updates, and post-implementation reviews.
Administrative & Operational Oversight
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in project management systems.
- Oversee scope-of-work development and change management processes.
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Field Services, Engineering, and Production teams.
- Support inventory planning and logistics coordination as it relates to project deployment.
- Review and continuously improve project workflows and processes to drive efficiency.
Field & Team Leadership
- Conduct and/or lead site visits, installations, and customer meetings as needed.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Project Specialists and Project Managers.
- Review work product for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
- Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution across departments.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive project management experience, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or technical system deployments.
- PMP certification is highly preferred (CAPM considered with strong experience).
- Experience working with government agencies and/or Departments of Transportation (DOT).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with willingness to travel locally and regionally (~30%).

Reporting Relationship
This role reports directly to the Director of Field Operations and works closely with Operations, Engineering, Production, and executive leadership.
Pay
- Starting at $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience and certifications
