About the job

Cronometer Software Inc. is a Canadian, science-driven company building the world’s most accurate and trusted nutrition tracking platform. Founded in 2005, Cronometer has grown from a passion project into a globally used health app relied on by millions.

Based in the mountain town of Revelstoke, BC, our team of developers, designers, and nutrition scientists shares a single mission: to empower people with transparent, science-backed nutrition data that supports better health decisions—no matter their goals or dietary approach.

At Cronometer Software Inc., our brand helps millions of people trust the nutrition data they use every day. As we grow, maintaining clarity, consistency, and credibility across every touchpoint is essential.

We’re looking for a Visual Designer to bring our brand to life across marketing, web, and product-adjacent surfaces. You’ll own day-to-day visual execution while collaborating closely with Marketing and Product Design to evolve our visual system and deliver a cohesive, high-quality brand experience.

This role is ideal for someone who balances creativity with consistency—and who values systems, craft, and attention to detail in equal measure.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Visual Systems

  • Maintain and evolve Cronometer’s visual identity across color, typography, iconography, illustration, photography, motion, and UI-supportive assets.

  • Build and maintain shared brand assets, libraries, and systems used across Marketing and Product.

  • Ensure visuals are clear, inclusive, and accessible across audiences and devices.

Marketing & Campaign Design

  • Lead the visual execution of campaigns from brief to delivery in partnership with Marketing.

  • Design creative for campaigns, landing pages, email, social, blog, and digital advertising.

  • Support experimentation by collaborating on A/B testing and visual iteration.

Web & Product Alignment

  • Design visuals for campaign landing pages and web updates, balancing performance, clarity, and brand consistency.

  • Collaborate with Product Designers to ensure a cohesive visual experience from first touchpoint through in-app use.

Templates, Enablement & Quality

  • Design scalable templates that enable fast, on-brand execution by non-designers.

  • Provide lightweight guidance or visual documentation to support self-serve brand use.

  • Review externally facing visuals and provide feedback to maintain a high bar for brand quality.

Asset Curation & Global Brand

  • Source, organize, and manage photo and video assets, working with external creators when needed.

  • Adapt brand visuals for different markets and cultural contexts while maintaining global consistency
.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in visual, brand, or marketing design.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience designing responsive web or landing page layouts.

  • Solid understanding of brand systems, hierarchy, and visual consistency.

  • Experience creating and editing icons and vector illustrations.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams.

  • Experience in email design, including HTML/CSS for marketing campaigns and newsletters.

  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and excited to build a strong, trusted brand.

  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

  • Curious, collaborative, and excited to nerd out over nutrition and health.

  • Eligible to work in Canada.

Bonus points for:

  • Motion or animation experience.

  • Experience in a product-led or growth-stage tech company.

  • Experience supporting global or multi-market campaigns
.
