About ADHVX

At ADHVX Industries, we’re reimagining how intelligence is built into hardware. Our System-on-Module (SoM) platform serves as the foundation for modular, edge-ready industrial computing.
We focus on enabling developers, integrators, and manufacturers to rapidly prototype and deploy robust embedded systems that bridge low-level hardware with scalable software ecosystems.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Embedded Firmware Intern to work at the core of our SoM ecosystem. You’ll help design, develop, and optimize firmware that brings our hardware platforms to life, working closely with real boards, peripherals, and toolchains.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware for SoM-based platforms. Support board bring-up, peripheral initialization, and boot workflows.
  • Interface with microcontrollers, processors, sensors, and communication modules (UART, SPI, I²C, QSPI, CAN/FDCAN) and ensure reliable operation.
  • Analyze performance, memory usage, and power behavior. Optimize firmware for efficiency, stability, and scalability.
  • Work closely with ADHVX’s hardware and systems teams to integrate firmware into production workflows and document design decisions, tests, and results.

What You’ll Gain

  • Real-world experience building firmware for custom industrial hardware platforms.
  • Hands-on exposure to SoM bring-up, BSPs, and low-level debugging.
  • Practical understanding of embedded toolchains, RTOS concepts, and hardware interfaces.
  • The opportunity to see your firmware evolve from prototype to production-grade systems.

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Embedded Systems.
  • Comfortable with C/C++ and familiar with embedded development environments(Cube IDE/IDF/NanoEdgeStudio) and toolchains.
  • Must have exposure to STM32,ESP32 MCUs, and Ethernet ICs is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of microcontrollers, memory, interrupts, and peripherals.
  • Exposure to RTOS (FreeRTOS/Zephyr), or bootloaders is a plus.
  • Join us if you enjoy working close to the hardware, debugging real systems, and building things that work in the real world.
