Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Vendor Onboarding & Partnerships Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with local brands and partners, and supporting the growth of a purpose-driven marketplace and community ecosystem. As an intern, you will work closely with the partnerships, marketing, and operations teams to onboard, support, and collaborate with vendors across platforms, events, and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Onboarding & Partnerships:
Identify and onboard vendors, farmers, brands, and service providers onto the platform and ecosystem.
Guide partners through the onboarding process, ensuring smooth registration and accurate listings.
Introduce vendors to collaboration opportunities such as events, content features, campaigns, and showcases.
Maintain and update vendor profiles, partnership records, and participation details.
Vendor Relationship & Support:
Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor partners for queries, coordination, and support.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with vendors to encourage ongoing engagement.
Coordinate with vendors for product showcases, storytelling, promotions, and event participation.
Ensure timely communication, follow-ups, and feedback collection.
Coordination & Operations:
Support planning and coordination of vendor participation for online and offline events.
Assist with scheduling, confirmations, and basic logistics related to partnerships and showcases.
Work closely with content and marketing teams to align vendor stories, listings, and promotions.
Maintain trackers, databases, and reports related to vendor onboarding and partnerships.
Strategy & Research:
Research potential vendor partners, categories, and trends to grow and diversify the ecosystem.
Collect insights and feedback from vendors to improve onboarding and collaboration processes.
Analyze vendor participation and engagement data and share recommendations with the team.
Support partnership outreach strategies and onboarding campaigns.
Other Tasks:
Stay updated on marketplace trends, community-led platforms, and partnership best practices.
Assist in creating onboarding guides, FAQs, and partner communication materials.
Support documentation, reporting, and internal coordination tasks as needed.
Help ensure smooth execution of partnership-related activities and timelines.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, or a related field.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Good organizational and coordination abilities with attention to detail.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, forms, and basic tracking or CRM tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to partnerships, vendor coordination, operations, or community management (internship or academic projects).
Familiarity with marketplaces, platforms, or ecosystem-based business models.
Basic understanding of onboarding workflows, documentation, or CRM tools.
Interest in sustainability, local businesses, or community-driven initiatives.
