In the Product and Test Engineering team, we work to develop new screening methods and hardware to ensure our parts meet rigorous customer expectations. Our team is currently seeking a self-motivated undergraduate or graduate intern to design and bring-up hardware to characterize the optical subcomponents in our TeraPHY chiplet. This individual will partner with a senior member of the engineering team to learn about our product and design a test setup to improve our understanding of its key optical parameters. Essential Functions: * Design and bring-up hardware to characterize the optical subcomponents in our TeraPHY chiplet * Design a test setup to improve our understanding of its key optical parameters Basic Qualifications: * Actively pursuing a Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent * Strong programming skills in Python * Prior experience working with optical instrumentation (i.e. power monitors, tunable lasers, positioners, VOAs) * Candidates are expected to be self-motivated and independent individuals who can drive project completion and message their resource needs Pay Range: $44.00 to $55.00 / Hour Recruiters: Principal applicants only.
