Computer Vision / ML Engineer, Edge AI and Multi-Camera Tracking (Founding Team)

CV/ML Engineer (Edge Vision) - Inventory Cognition Platform
We are building inventory cognition infrastructure for physical retail: a system that maintains continuous truth about what is on a shelf, where it is, and when that changes, without tracking people. It is a genuinely hard, genuinely new problem, and the biggest names who tried adjacent versions of it have publicly stumbled. We think the reason is architectural, and we are building it the right way from the ground up.
You would work directly with our CV/ML lead to implement the MVP vision pipeline and the edge inference systems behind it. The work:

Re-identification (ReID) and multi-camera tracking for real-world environments on NVIDIA Jetson Orin edge devices
Development and optimization of TensorRT and DeepStream pipelines
Handling RTSP / ONVIF camera streams
Supporting computer vision models for object tracking, recognition, and spatial monitoring

Experience with real-time vision systems, model optimization, and edge deployment is highly valuable. Because the system is patent-pending, deeper architecture details are shared after NDA.

The honest part: This is an equity-only role right now. We are a pre-revenue, woman-owned startup, and we are structuring this so that equity converts into real compensation as we close funding and generate revenue. We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to help get a company off the ground, build something that does not exist yet, and share in the upside they help create, not someone looking for a paycheck on day one.
