Our mission is to create sustainable funding mechanisms for experimental innovation. Through quantitative research and technology-driven investment systems, we aim to generate resources that support scientific prototypes and early-stage projects across areas such as artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and neurotechnology.
The Quantitative Systems Division builds the models, infrastructure, and automated systems that support this mission.
The Role
We are looking for a Quantitative Systems Research Intern to join our remote team.
You will work on quantitative modeling, market research, simulations, and automated strategy development using real-world financial data. Your contributions will directly support the development of systems designed to fund future scientific innovation.
This role is ideal for someone interested in the intersection of:

What You’ll Do
- Research market behavior and identify quantitative opportunities
- Develop and test quantitative hypotheses
- Build and improve backtesting and simulation systems
- Analyze strategy performance and risk metrics
- Process and analyze financial datasets
- Explore machine learning approaches for financial modeling
- Build research tools and automation pipelines
- Document findings and technical insights
What We’re Looking For
- Strong programming skills in Python, Rust, or similar languages
- Background in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related fields
- Experience with data analysis, machine learning, or quantitative research
- Ability to independently solve complex technical problems
- Curiosity about markets, automation, and emerging technologies

Selection Process
We move quickly and believe real work is the best way to evaluate technical ability.
Step 1 — Portfolio Review
We review previous work, GitHub repositories, research, and technical projects.
Step 2 — 1–2 Week Trial Period
Selected candidates collaborate with the team on real research tasks, simulations, and prototype systems.
Step 3 — Continued Collaboration
After the trial period, we evaluate technical contribution, problem-solving ability, and alignment with the mission to determine continued involvement.
