SEO Intern

We’re seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to lead the search engine optimization strategy for a full-scale website redesign project. You’ll work closely with the design, development, and content teams to ensure the new site is optimized for visibility, performance, and discoverability across search engines. This role is critical to aligning technical SEO with brand identity, multilingual support, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct SEO audits of the current site and identify areas for improvement pre-redesign.
Develop and implement SEO strategy aligned with the redesigned site architecture and content plan.
Collaborate with content writers to optimize on-page SEO: meta tags, headers, internal linking, keyword density, alt text, and structured data.
Ensure technical SEO best practices: site speed, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, indexation, and schema markup.
Optimize multilingual SEO for up to 3 Indian languages, ensuring proper hreflang tags and localized keyword strategies.
Work with developers to ensure SEO-friendly URL structures, redirects, and canonical tags during migration.
Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, accessibility scores, and page experience metrics.
Set up and manage Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools.
Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics post-launch.
Provide monthly performance reports and actionable insights.
Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in large-scale website redesigns.
Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy.
Experience with multilingual SEO and Indian language search behavior.
Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.).
Ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and content teams.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Bonus Skills

Experience with schema.org, JSON-LD, and rich snippets.
Understanding of local SEO and dealer locator optimization.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and SEO implications.
