Frontend / Backend Developer Intern (PropTech / Sustainability)

Ivynest is an AI-powered retrofit platform helping property owners, landlords, and contractors design, fund, and deliver energy-efficient upgrades. We make the transition to low-carbon homes smarter, faster, and financially rewarding.

We’re looking for a Frontend or Backend Developer Intern passionate about clean tech, sustainability, and digital innovation. You’ll help build new features for our SaaS platform used by homeowners, contractors, and investors — working directly with our CTO and product team.

Responsibilities

• Support in developing and maintaining our web app (frontend or backend).

• Contribute to UI/UX improvements and data-driven dashboards.

• Integrate APIs and automation tools for dynamic retrofit plan generation.

• Participate in testing, debugging, and product iterations.

• Collaborate with the CTO and design team to bring new ideas to life.

Required Skills

• Python, React, SQL

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control

Optional Skills (nice to have)

• Flask (Python), Typescript

• S3 storage management in Python

• Figma, UML, cybersecurity awareness, test writing (Python or Jest)
