Senior Data Engineer - Data Flow

Who We AreRevelio Labs provides workforce intelligence. We absorb and standardize hundreds of millions of public employment records to create the world’s first universal HR database, allowing us to see current workforce composition and trends of any company. Our customers include investors, corporate strategists, HR teams, and governments.

What We’re Looking ForIf you want to architect and build the core data flow that powers the world’s realtime understanding of the labor market, this role is for you. We’ve invested heavily in efficiency, and we now have bit-level control over every data transformation that we make. It’ll be your job to optimize our data pipelines to push the boundaries of efficiency and throughput, as well as to work with our engineering leadership team to architect a well-abstracted framework upon which we can build the core graph of transformations that forms the backbone of Revelio’s data products. You’ll have visibility and control over the entire data flow, from the efficient reconfiguration of the raw data, to the application of cutting-edge embedding and transformer models, to the formation of rich and powerful datasets.

Experience And Skills

• Go
• Data Streaming/High-Throughput Small-Batch Processing
• k8s (preferred)
• modeling or model integration (preferred)
• Python (bonus)
• SQL (bonus)
• 3+ years in a software engineering role
• 1+ years in a senior or design-heavy role

Expectations

• Identify and implement solutions to optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including our modeling team, infra team, and client success team to understand the data needs

Location:Our offices are based in New York City, but the position can be done remotely.

SalaryThe pay range for this position in New York City is $150,000 - $220,000 per year. The salary range for performing this role outside of New York City may differ. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in our company’s equity program, plus benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be more senior or have different experience than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
